Popular Science of Construction Suspended Platforms: Efficient Equipment for Exterior Wall Construction
Construction suspended platforms are core aerial equipment for exterior wall construction, renovation and maintenance, curtain wall installation, anti-corrosion and thermal insulation projects, serving as an effective alternative to traditional scaffolding. Featuring easy assembly and disassembly, lightweight flexibility and strong adaptability, they are widely used in high-rise buildings, municipal projects and old building renovation, greatly improving the efficiency and safety of high-altitude operations. Many construction workers use suspended platforms frequently on a daily basis, yet lack sufficient understanding of their structural features, model differences and maintenance specifications. This article introduces basic knowledge of suspended platforms, helping practitioners select models scientifically, standardize operations and conduct proper equipment maintenance. 1. Basic Structure and Working Principle of Suspended Platforms Electric suspended platforms adopt a modular combined structure, which is easy to disassemble, transport and assemble, adapting to various complex exterior wall construction scenarios. The complete equipment mainly consists of a suspension mechanism, counterweight system, hanging platform, lifting mechanism, safety protection devices and electrical control system. The coordination of all systems ensures stable and safe equipment operation. It adopts a mature and reliable working principle: fixed by the roof suspension mechanism and counterweights, equipped with working steel ropes and safety steel ropes, the lifting machine drives the hanging platform to lift vertically, providing a stable operating surface for high-altitude work. Compared with traditional scaffolding, suspended platforms require no large-area erection and are not limited by building shapes and floor heights, especially suitable for special-shaped and curved exterior wall construction. Equipped with multiple protection structures including fall arrest safety locks, limit devices, power-off and leakage protection, the equipment adopts dual mechanical and electronic control protection, effectively avoiding risks such as over-speed, tilting and falling, making it a reliable safety equipment for high-altitude exterior wall construction. 2.Main Model Classification and Application Scenarios Suspended platforms are divided into various models according to driving modes, specifications and load capacities to adapt to different construction conditions. Reasonable model selection can effectively reduce costs and improve efficiency. As the mainstream on-site model, electric suspended platforms feature stable operation, simple operation and high efficiency, suitable for exterior wall painting, thermal insulation, curtain wall installation, renovation and maintenance of high-rise residential and commercial buildings. Manual suspended platforms are lightweight and power-free, mostly used for low-rise repairs, minor maintenance and power-off emergency scenarios. The widely used ZLP630 standard suspended platform features high stability and moderate load capacity, and can be equipped with platforms of different lengths for large-area exterior wall construction. Compared with scaffolding, it has a short erection cycle, flexible movement and small floor space, which can effectively shorten the construction period and save construction costs. Meanwhile, suspended platforms are also widely applied in special infrastructure scenarios such as bridge anti-corrosion, tank inspection, chimney maintenance and large venue renovation. 3. Standard Operation and Basic Maintenance Guidelines As high-frequency aerial work equipment, suspended platforms are prone to steel rope wear, accessory aging and electrical system moisture damage after long-term outdoor operation. Standardized operation and regular maintenance are the key to eliminating hidden dangers and extending equipment service life. Basic daily inspection is required before operation: check the stability of suspension mechanisms and counterweights, whether steel ropes are rusted or broken, the sensitivity of safety locks, brakes and limit devices, and the integrity of platform bolts and welds. Faulty equipment is prohibited from operation. Operators must strictly follow load standards, overloading, eccentric loading and platform shaking are forbidden, and work shall be suspended in strong wind weather. Daily maintenance focuses on wearing parts: regularly lubricate hoists and transmission structures, clean dust on steel ropes and conduct anti-rust treatment; check the waterproof and moisture-proof performance of circuits after rain or during idle periods to prevent electric leakage and short circuits. Regular daily maintenance can effectively reduce failure rates and ensure steady construction progress. With a streamlined structure and complete safety protection, suspended platforms are key equipment for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in exterior wall construction. Scientific model selection, standardized operation and regular maintenance can maximize equipment performance and ensure safe and efficient high-altitude operations. We will continue to share professional content on suspended platform troubleshooting, parts replacement and seasonal maintenance. Stay tuned.

A Brief Guide to Construction Hoists: Understand Vertical Transportation Equipment on Construction Sites
Construction hoists are core vertical transportation equipment at building sites, widely used in high-rise buildings, municipal infrastructure, factory construction and various other projects. As essential equipment for transporting personnel and materials at height, they feature stable operation, strong adaptability and high safety performance, making them indispensable construction machinery for modern projects. Many front-line workers operate construction hoists on a daily basis, yet have limited understanding of their core structure, practical advantages and basic maintenance knowledge. This article shares basic professional insights into construction hoists, helping users recognize equipment value and standardize on-site operation and management. 1. Basic Structure & Working Principle of Construction Hoists Also known as construction elevators, construction hoists adopt gear and rack transmission to move vertically along fixed mast sections. Featuring a concise and modular structure, they allow easy on-site assembly, disassembly, splicing and repeated relocation. The main body consists of four core parts: mast frame, cage, driving mechanism and wall attachments. The mast frame acts as the load-bearing support, extended by standard sections and firmly fixed to the building with wall ties to reduce shaking caused by high-altitude winds. The enclosed cage is well-structured, equipped with safety doors, anti-slip floors and protective railings to ensure basic safety for personnel and material transportation. The driving system provides stable power. The matched motor and reducer ensure smooth start, stop and steady lifting, minimizing vibration. Meanwhile, the whole machine is equipped with multiple safety configurations, including limit devices, braking systems and fall arrest protection. Combined mechanical and electrical control effectively prevents over-travel, over-speed and falling risks, adapting to harsh outdoor site conditions with heavy dust and drastic temperature changes. 2. Main Classification & Application Scenarios Based on functional and structural differences, construction hoists are divided into multiple models to meet diverse project scales and construction demands. Proper model selection greatly improves overall working efficiency. By function, they are classified into **personnel and material hoists** and **material-only hoists**. Equipped with comprehensive safety devices and manufactured under strict inspection standards, personnel and material hoists are the most versatile option, widely adopted in high-rise projects for transporting workers, small tools and decoration materials. Material-only hoists focus on high load capacity with reinforced structures, specially designed for cargo and component transportation, and are strictly prohibited from carrying personnel, ideal for factory plants and large civil engineering works. By structure, there are single-cage and double-cage types. Single-cage hoists occupy less space, require simple maintenance and cost less, suitable for small and medium-sized buildings, low-rise renovation and small construction sites. Double-cage hoists operate independently with higher transportation efficiency, realizing separated delivery of workers and materials, and are widely used in super-high-rise real estate, large commercial complexes and key municipal projects.Diversified models and wide scene adaptability make construction hoists a long-standing essential solution in the infrastructure industry. 3. Standard Operation & Basic Safety Maintenance Tips As high-frequency aerial work equipment, standardized daily operation and routine maintenance are critical to extending service life and eliminating potential safety hazards. Before daily operation, inspect key components: check the tightness of mast connection bolts, the sensitivity of cage switches and safety interlocks, and the normal performance of brakes and limit devices. Never operate faulty equipment. During operation, follow load limits strictly. Overloading and forced loading of oversized materials are forbidden. Operators must comply with operating regulations and avoid dangerous behaviors such as arbitrary button operation and forced door opening. For long-term outdoor operation, lubricants should be regularly added to moving parts such as drive gears, racks and bearings to reduce wear and aging. After rain, snow or strong wind, clean dust and debris on the equipment, and check moisture protection for electrical circuits to prevent dampness and short circuits. Regular simple daily maintenance reduces failure rates, cuts long-term repair costs and ensures stable project progress. Though simple to operate, construction hoists integrate sophisticated mechanical transmission and electrical safety designs, serving as low-profile but essential equipment in engineering construction.Reasonable selection, standardized operation and regular maintenance can maximize equipment performance and support efficient, safe construction. We will continue to share professional content including hoist parts selection, troubleshooting and seasonal maintenance. Stay tuned.

Winter Tower Crane Safety Operation Guide: Prevent These 3 Major Risks (Low Temperature, Wind & Snow, Icing) in Advance!
As the winter cold wave arrives, problems such as plummeting temperatures, frequent wind and snow, and equipment icing have brought multiple safety hazards to tower crane high-altitude operations. According to engineering safety data statistics, the incidence of tower crane safety accidents in winter is 35% higher than that in other seasons, and more than 80% of them are directly related to the three types of risks: low temperature, wind and snow, and icing. I. Low-Temperature Risks: Guard Against Equipment "Freezing" and Prevent Performance Failure Low-temperature environments can cause multiple damages to the hydraulic system, electrical components, and metal structures of tower cranes, which are the basic hidden dangers of winter operations: Hydraulic System Protection: Low temperatures tend to increase the viscosity of hydraulic oil and reduce its fluidity, leading to jams in the luffing and slewing movements of tower cranes, and even burnout of hydraulic pumps due to idling. It is recommended to replace with low-temperature hydraulic oil suitable for environments below -20℃. Before daily operations, run the hydraulic system under no-load for 5-10 minutes, and start lifting operations only after the oil temperature rises to the normal range. At the same time, ensure thermal insulation protection for hydraulic pipelines to avoid freezing, cracking, and oil leakage of the pipelines. Electrical Component Protection: Low temperatures will reduce battery life and the sensitivity of electrical components, which may cause malfunctions such as false triggering of limiters and contactor failure. It is necessary to regularly check the tightness of electrical boxes and install thermal insulation cotton and moisture-proof devices; reinforce the insulation of batteries and wire connectors, and test the response speed of safety devices such as limiters and emergency stop switches before daily startup to ensure stable signal transmission. Metal Structure Protection: Low temperatures will increase the brittleness of steel, and connection parts such as welds and bolts are prone to cracking and loosening. It is required to conduct flaw detection on the bolts of tower body standard sections and the welds of jibs every week, focusing on checking the tightness of high-strength bolts above grade 8.8. Timely touch up paint on parts with peeling paint and metal corrosion to prevent accelerated corrosion under low temperatures and the resulting decrease in structural strength. II. Wind & Snow Risks: Strengthen Windproof Reinforcement and Avoid Sight Blind Spots Strong winds and blizzards in winter will directly affect the stability of tower cranes and the sight of operators, and are very likely to cause accidents such as overturning and inaccurate lifting: Windproof Level Control: Strictly follow the tower crane windproof safety specifications. Stop outdoor lifting operations when the on-site wind speed reaches level 6 (10.8m/s); when the wind speed exceeds level 10, lift the hook to the highest position, tighten the luffing rope, park the jib in the downwind direction, and activate reinforcement devices such as windproof stay cables and rail clamps to prevent the tower crane from being displaced by strong winds. Blizzard Weather Response: Before operations in snowy weather, clear the snow on the jib, counter-jib, and traveling mechanism to avoid the shift of the tower body's center of gravity due to uneven snow distribution; reduce the lifting speed during operations and increase the safety distance between the lifted object and surrounding facilities to prevent the lifted object from swinging and colliding. When resuming work after a blizzard, first conduct a comprehensive inspection of the tower crane's verticality and structural welds, and resume operations only after confirming no deformation or loosening. Elimination of Sight Blind Spots: Rain and snow weather are prone to sight obstruction. It is necessary to install defogging devices in the cab and install high-brightness warning lights at key positions of the hook and jib; arrange special ground commanders during lifting operations and adopt a dual communication method of walkie-talkie and hand gestures to eliminate lifting accidents caused by poor visibility. III. Icing Risks: Remove Icing Hidden Dangers and Prevent Component Jamming After low-temperature rain and snow, parts such as the wire ropes, hooks, and tracks of tower cranes are prone to icing, which directly threatens operational safety: De-icing of Wire Ropes and Hooks: Icing on wire ropes will increase friction resistance and reduce toughness, while icing on hooks may cause the lifted object to slip off. Before daily operations, use special de-icing tools to clear ice on the surface of wire ropes, and check the wire ropes for broken wires and corrosion at the same time; apply low-temperature special grease when icing is severe. Fill the hook pulleys with anti-freezing lubricating oil to ensure flexible rotation, and confirm that the hook safety buckles are not jammed by ice before use. De-icing of Tracks and Traveling Mechanism: For traveling tower cranes, it is necessary to timely clear ice and snow on the tracks and lay anti-skid sand; check the fit between traveling wheels and tracks to prevent jamming or derailment of the traveling mechanism due to icing. De-icing of Platforms and Ladders: Install anti-skid pads on the ladders and platforms for operators to climb up and down the tower crane, and timely remove ice. At the same time, equip operators with protective equipment such as safety ropes and anti-skid shoes to prevent high-altitude slipping and falling. In response to the winter tower crane safety operation needs, we have fully stocked up on winter-specific accessories. Safety comes first in winter construction! If you need to customize a tower crane winter safety protection plan or purchase winter-specific accessories, please feel free to contact us at any time. Tower Crane Accessories Class: The "Invisible Heroes" Determining Tower Crane Safety and Efficiency
As the "giant aerial arm" of construction projects, tower cranes can accurately lift tons of heavy objects and efficiently complete high-altitude operations. Beyond their solid main structure, their performance relies heavily on the collaborative effort of various accessories. Today, let’s explore the "core functions" of these key components to help you quickly understand the technology and safety logic behind this "giant arm." I. "Heart" Components: Core Power Driving Tower Crane Operations Hydraulic system components (hydraulic pumps, cylinders, pipelines): The luffing, slewing, and lifting movements of tower cranes are all driven by hydraulics, similar to the human circulatory system. High-quality hydraulic parts ensure smooth, uninterrupted movements—for example, preventing sudden drops when lifting heavy loads, which is critical for high-altitude operational safety. Motors and reducers: Motors are the source of power, while reducers convert this power into precise rotational speeds (e.g., the slewing speed of the jib). Their compatibility directly affects the crane’s "response speed"; inferior components may cause slow startup and soaring energy consumption. II. "Nervous System": Intelligent Defense for Safety Control Limiters(height limiters, range limiters, weight limiters): Known as the crane’s "braking system." When the hook reaches maximum height, the jib extends beyond the safe range, or the load is excessive, limiters automatically cut off power to avoid fatal risks like "over-hoisting" or "overload tipping." They are mandatory components under international safety standards. Sensors and monitoring systems: The "smart brain" of modern tower cranes, which real-time monitor wind speed, load, angle, and other data. Alerts are triggered immediately if safety thresholds are exceeded—for instance, when wind speed exceeds level 10, the system will lock the jib to prevent the crane from being "blown over." III. "Joints and Bones": Solid Support for Weight Bearing Standard sections and bolts: Tower cranes "grow taller" through the assembly of standard sections, with high-strength bolts being the key to secure connections. Premium bolts, made of grade 8.8 or higher high-strength steel, can withstand hundreds of tons of vertical load, preventing tower tilt due to loosening. Hooks and wire ropes: The "frontline load-bearers" in direct contact with heavy objects. Hooks must undergo flaw detection (to ensure no cracks), and wire ropes must meet the safety standard of "no more than 10% broken wires"—otherwise, they may suddenly snap during lifting. IV. "Wear Parts": Small but Impactful Pulleys and bearings: Pulleys on the jib and hook reduce friction on wire ropes, while bearings ensure smooth slewing and luffing. Severely worn pulleys accelerate rope aging, and low-quality bearings may cause jib "jamming," increasing maintenance costs. Contactors and brake pads**: The "switches" of the electrical system and braking devices. Contactor failure can lead to operational out-of-control, and worn brake pads extend braking distance. These parts require regular replacement and are essential for routine crane maintenance. Whether for large infrastructure projects or small-scale engineering rentals, a tower crane’s "health" lies in these accessories. Baoquan Foreign Trade has specialized in exporting tower crane accessories for years. From core hydraulic components to small wear parts, all products hold international certifications and are compatible with mainstream brands. Choosing the right accessories ensures your tower crane operates safely and efficiently, supporting the smooth progress of your projects! Construction Hoist Maintenance and Repair: Safeguarding Equipment Safety and Extending Service Life
As a core piece of equipment for high-rise building construction and vertical cargo transportation, the daily maintenance and scientific repair of construction hoists not only directly affect operational efficiency, but also are critical to the safety of on-site personnel and property. Today, combining industry standards and years of service experience, we will popularize the core points of construction hoist maintenance and repair to help customers achieve efficient and safe operation of their equipment. I. Daily Maintenance: Lay a Solid Foundation to Prevent Hidden Risks Daily maintenance must adhere to the principles of "regularity, comprehensiveness, and meticulousness". It is recommended to establish a 《Construction Hoist Daily Maintenance Record Form》 to clarify responsible persons and inspection frequencies, with a focus on the following aspects: 1. Inspection of Mechanical Components Guide Rail Frames and Wall-Attached Frames: Check weekly for loose connecting bolts and cracked welds. If rust is found, remove it promptly and apply anti-rust paint to prevent structural deformation that could affect stability. Transmission System: Inspect the meshing of gears and racks daily to ensure no severe tooth wear (replace if wear exceeds 15% of the original tooth thickness). At the same time, replenish with special lubricating oil to reduce mechanical friction. Brakes and Safety Clamps: Test braking performance daily to ensure the construction hoist brakes smoothly after power failure. Maintain a safety clamp gap of 0.5-1mm to avoid brake failure caused by excessive gaps. 2. Maintenance of Electrical Systems Control Circuits and Terminal Blocks: Check monthly for damaged wire insulation and secure terminal connections to prevent malfunctions caused by short circuits or poor contact. Limit Switches and Sensors: Test the sensitivity of upper/lower limit switches and emergency stop buttons daily to ensure the equipment automatically cuts off power when reaching extreme positions—this is the "last line of defense" for safety. 3. Maintenance of Hydraulic Systems (for Hydraulic Construction Hoists) Hydraulic Oil: Check oil level and quality every 3 months. Maintain the oil level between the tank’s marked lines; replace the oil promptly if it becomes turbid or contains impurities. Clean the hydraulic filter element simultaneously to prevent insufficient pressure due to blockages. II. Regular Repair: Accurate "Diagnosis" to Eliminate Hidden Risks in Time In addition to daily maintenance, develop a "quarterly and annual repair plan" based on equipment usage intensity and operating hours, focusing on in-depth overhauls of high-wear components and core systems of construction hoists: 1. Quarterly Repairs: Focus on inspecting steel wire ropes (replace if the number of broken wires exceeds 6 per lay length) and guide wheel bearings (replace promptly if abnormal noise or jamming occurs). Calibrate the construction hoist’s levelness to ensure no obvious shaking during operation. 2. Annual Repairs: Entrust professional teams to conduct a comprehensive "inspection" of the construction hoist, including structural stress testing, insulation resistance testing of electrical systems, and pressure adjustment of hydraulic systems. Replace aging components (such as seals and contactors) based on inspection reports to ensure the equipment complies with the national standard GB/T 10054-2021 《Construction Elevators》(note: the national standard retains the term "Construction Elevators" as the official name, consistent with industry norms). III. Repair Taboos: Avoid "Missteps" to Prevent Secondary Damage Strictly follow safety regulations during construction hoist repairs and eliminate the following incorrect operations: 1. Prohibit "Operation with Faults": If issues such as abnormal construction hoist noise, delayed braking, or shaking during operation are found, stop the equipment immediately for inspection. Never allow "faulty operation" to meet construction deadlines. 2. Prohibit Use of Non-OEM Spare Parts: Core construction hoist components (such as brakes and sensors) must be original or meet industry standards. Non-standard parts may have problems such as mismatched sizes or substandard materials, which pose safety hazards. 3. Prohibit No Debugging After Repairs: After repairs, conduct no-load test runs (no less than 3 lifting cycles). Only put the construction hoist into actual operation after confirming all functions are normal. Construction hoist maintenance and repair is a process where "prevention is better than cure". As an enterprise with a complete after-sales service system, Shenyang Baoquan not only provides customers with high-quality construction hoist products, but also offers supporting professional maintenance and repair services, and can customize exclusive 《Construction Hoist Maintenance Plans》 for customers. Shenyang Baoquan is willing to use professional technology and thoughtful service to work with every customer to safeguard equipment safety, improve operational efficiency, and provide solid support for the smooth progress of construction projects!

Full Analysis of Common Faults and Their Analyses in Tower Cranes
In urban construction, tower cranes are extremely important mechanical equipment. However, just like any complex mechanical equipment, tower cranes are also prone to malfunctions during long-term and high-intensity operation. Understanding common faults and their causes is of great significance for ensuring construction safety and improving construction efficiency. 1. Electrical System Faults Motor Overheating: When the motor of a tower crane operates under high load for a long time, it is prone to overheating. This may be due to motor overload. For example, if the hoisted goods exceed the rated lifting capacity of the tower crane, the motor needs to output a greater torque to complete the hoisting task, resulting in an increase in current and more intense heat generation. In addition, poor heat dissipation of the motor is also an important factor. If the cooling fan of the motor is damaged, or the ventilation openings around the motor are blocked by sundries, the heat cannot be dissipated in a timely manner, which will cause the temperature of the motor to keep rising. Damage to Electrical Components: The electrical system of a tower crane includes many components, such as contactors and relays. These components are prone to problems such as contact erosion and coil aging during frequent on-off operations and long-term operation. For instance, during the frequent closing and opening of a contactor, an arc will be generated between the contacts. The long-term effect of the arc will make the surface of the contacts rough and uneven, resulting in an increase in contact resistance and heat generation, and ultimately damaging the contacts. 2.Mechanical Transmission System Faults Reducer Faults: The reducer is a key component of the mechanical transmission system of a tower crane. Its function is to reduce the speed of the motor and increase the output torque at the same time. Common faults of the reducer include oil leakage, gear wear, and bearing damage. Oil leakage usually occurs due to the aging and damage of seals or cracks in the reducer housing. Gear wear may be caused by poor lubrication between the gears or the excessive impact force on the gears due to frequent starting and braking during the hoisting process. Bearing damage is often related to insufficient lubrication, improper installation, and long-term operation under heavy load. Wirerope Faults: The wirerope is a direct load-bearing component for the tower crane to hoist goods. It works in a harsh environment and bears huge tensile force and wear. Common faults of the wirerope include wire breakage, wear, and deformation. Wire breakage usually occurs due to the long-term action of alternating stress on the wirerope, or friction and collision with other objects during the hoisting process. Wear is mainly caused by the friction between the wirerope and the pulley and drum, as well as the extrusion when passing through the guiding device. Deformation may be caused by a sudden overload tensile force on the wirerope, or improper operations such as twisting and bending during storage and use. 3.Hydraulic System Faults Excessive Oil Temperature: In the operation of a tower crane's hydraulic system, excessively high oil temperature is a common issue. This may be due to the poor performance of the hydraulic system's heat dissipation device. For example, the radiator fins are clogged with dust, which affects the heat dissipation effect. Or the viscosity of the hydraulic oil is improperly selected. If the viscosity is too high, it will increase the flow resistance of the hydraulic oil in the system, generating excessive heat. In addition, long - term heavy - load operation will also cause the oil temperature of the hydraulic system to rise. Hydraulic Pump Faults: The hydraulic pump is the power source of the hydraulic system, and its function is to convert mechanical energy into hydraulic energy. Common faults of the hydraulic pump include insufficient flow and unstable pressure. Insufficient flow may be caused by severe wear of the internal parts of the hydraulic pump, such as the plunger and the valve plate, which leads to a decrease in the volumetric efficiency of the pump. Or the oil suction pipeline of the hydraulic pump is blocked, preventing the pump from sucking oil normally. Unstable pressure may be due to the presence of air in the hydraulic system, or malfunctions in pressure control valves such as relief valves, which are unable to stably control the pressure of the hydraulic system. Tower cranes have a wide variety of faults with complex causes. No matter which system malfunctions, it may have a serious impact on the safe operation of the tower crane and the construction progress. Therefore, construction units and operators must attach great importance to the daily maintenance and upkeep of tower cranes. Regularly conduct comprehensive inspections and repairs of tower cranes, and promptly detect and eliminate potential fault hazards. Only in this way can we ensure that the tower cranes always maintain a good operating condition during construction projects, and provide a guarantee for the smooth progress of urban construction.

Build a strong security line: tower crane maintenance common sense to master
With the continuous advancement of urban construction, safe operation of tower crane is of utmost importance as crucial equipment in construction projects. Today, let's share some core common sense of tower crane maintenance to help better safeguard construction safety. Daily inspection: Details can reveal the essence of things The maintenance of tower cranes must follow strict daily inspection procedures. Before the operation every day, the operator should carefully check the structural parts of the tower crane, carefully check the tower body, jib, counter jib and other parts, to check whether there is deformation, cracks or loose connectors. At the same time, the tower crane brake system, wirerope, pulley and other key components should also be carefully inspected. The braking system is related to whether the tower crane can stop running in time, and the wear of its brake pads needs to be paid attention to. For the "lifeline" of the tower crane - wirerope, it is necessary to focus on. Check for broken wire, wear, rust and other problems. Once it is found that the wear degree of wirerope exceeds the specified range, or the number of broken wires reaches a certain standard, it must be replaced immediately to avoid potential major losses due to minor issue. In addition, it is also necessary to pay attention to the condition of the pulley and hook to ensure that they rotate flexibly, no stuck, and the anti-tripping device of the hook is intact. Regular maintenance: Keep the Tower Crane in good condition Regular maintenance is the key to ensure the long-term stable operation of the tower crane. Every once in a while, the professional maintenance team will carry out a deep "physical examination" of the tower crane. In the mechanical aspect, the transmission components are lubricated to reduce wear and extend service life. Check the fastening of each connection part and tighten loose bolts in time. The electrical system cannot be ignored either. Check whether the line is aged or damaged, whether the connector is firm, and ensure that the electrical components work normally. At the same time, check and debug the safety protection devices of the tower crane, such as over load limit, trolley moment limit, height limiter, etc., to ensure that they can play a role at critical moments and escort the safe operation of the tower crane. Maintenance during special periods: take precautions to ensure safety In some special periods, such as before and after bad weather, the maintenance of the tower crane is particularly important. Before the arrival of extreme weather such as strong wind, rainstorm and blizzard, the tower crane should be strengthened, the height of the jib should be reduced, and the windward area should be reduced to ensure the stability of the tower crane in bad weather. After extreme weather, a full inspection of the tower crane should be carried out immediately. Check whether the foundation has settled, whether the tower is tilted, and whether the structural parts are damaged. Only after confirming that everything is normal, the tower crane can continue to be put into use. Doing a good job of tower crane maintenance is not only responsible for the safety of construction, but also responsible for the life safety of each of our practitioners. I hope everyone can keep these maintenance common sense in mind, so that the tower crane can operate safely and efficiently on the construction site, and contribute more power to the construction of the city!
